REDEEMER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Redeemer Christian Academy, founded in 1971 (as Redeemer Alternative School) by action of Church of the Redeemer (PC-USA), is an innovative Christian private school that offers comprehensive educational programs and activities that promote high levels of academic excellence.

From 1972 to 1979, the school grew from a nursery facility to an elementary school enrolling students up to the 6th grade. During this period, we established a program that provided extended day care services. Today, the diverse school program has expanded student enrollment up to the 8th grade.

Due to this phenomenal growth in the student population, the school is organized into three divisions: Pre-School, Elementary, and Middle School. Through a variety of interrelated components, we emphasize and reinforce the academic and spiritual development as well as cultural awareness of each individual. We are dedicated to maximizing the potential of each student's awareness from a Christian worldview perspective. Additionally, we believe the school, as an institution exists as a partner to families to accomplish this biblical mandate to train up our children in the faith.

Furthermore, expansion and improvements in the academic quality of the curriculum, staff development activities, and enhancement of our goals and objectives continue to be our focus. We are excited about the preliminary plans that are underway for the physical expansion of classrooms that will be needed to accommodate future enrollment.

Parents are strongly encouraged to continue their active part in the educational process and school activities. Officially known as the Parent Action Council (PAC), the parent support group is a vital organization that supports school-sponsored events as well as initiating other activities for the overall benefit of the school.

With much excitement, we look forward to the continued development of this supportive learning environment of interactive enrichment that will ensure the success of our students for the world community.
