The Moderator (Pastor) shall be Ex-Officio to all Ministry Teams of the Session.   

MINISTRY TEAMS OF THE SESSION:

•    Christian Academy School Board Ministry Team
•    Christian Education Ministry Team
•    Community Outreach and Social Concerns Ministry Team
•    Deacons Work Ministry Team
•    Evangelism/Outreach Ministry Team
•    Mission Interpretation and Stewardship Ministry Team
•    Music and Worship Ministry Team
•    Personnel Ministry Team
•    Property and Finance Ministry Team   

MINISTRY TEAM OF THE CHURCH:

•    The Nominations Ministry Team
This ministry team is accountable to the Congregation and therefore is not a Ministry Team of the Session even though the Chairperson of the Ministry Team must be, according to the Book of Order, an Elder in active service on the Session.  The majority membership on this ministry team is nominated and elected by the Congregation annually in the month of February to serve a term of one year.

REDEVELOPMENT, RESEARCH & MISSIONAL TRANSFORMATION

•    Provides for the continuous growth and refinement of Church Programs through research; relate to the mission needs of the community; and to coordinate the programs of church organizations not otherwise addressed by the Session Ministry Team.

Each Ministry Team of the Session shall have in its membership the following:
•    At least one Elder in active service on the Session.
•    At least four members at large from the Congregation of the Church or its organizations.
